Overview of The Nissan Dualis

If you’re planning to lease a car for work or private use, the Nissan Dualis compact crossover SUV is a popular all-round option for city driving and longer excursions.

The Nissan Dualis has been in production since 2007, replacing the Nissan Mistral as the company’s most compact SUV offering. Originally manufactured in the UK under the name Qashqais, more than 100,000 cars were sold in Europe alone by the end of its first production year, with production set to relocate to Nissan Russia’s Saint Petersburg plant in 2014. The Dualis is exported to many parts of the world, including Australia and the Middle East.

The Dualis is based on an original platform and aims to strike the right balance between dynamic design and the large and powerful lines of a sport utility vehicle. Its relatively compact size of 4,310 millimetres by 1,610 millimetres makes it smaller than competing models such as the Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage and Mitsubishi Outlander, and five engine choices are available depending on the owner’s budget and preference. The Nissan Dualis was awarded a prestigious five star safety rating by Euro NCAP in 2007, and was also the best scoring model for adult occupant protection.
