Fuel Cards

All of your vehicles running costs including regular maintenance services, tyres and fuel can be conveniently paid for using your fuel card.

Whilst you may choose any method of payment for these services many choose to enjoy the benefits of using a fuel card to manage all running expenses associated with the vehicle. Some of the advantages of a fuel card are:

Insurance

Fleet Network can offer competitive rates on varying insurance packages, as explained below.

Comprehensive Motor Insurance, Gap Insurance, Lease Protection, Extended Warranty

 

Comprehensive Motor Insurance

  • Your Motor Vehicle is covered for business and personal usage.
  • Policy is an open driver policy, meaning that coverage is provided for any driver of the insured vehicle.
  • Excess free windscreen/window cover – One excess free replacement per policy year.
  • Choice of repairer.
  • Hire car costs following theft – Up to $100 per day with a maximum of $1,500 and 21 days.

Replacement Vehicle Benefit

A new replacement vehicle will be provided if the vehicle is either:

  • Less than 2 years old, and had not traveled more than 40,000 kms, or
  • More than 2 years old but less than 3 years old, and not traveled more than 50,000 km.

The following additional benefits are included as standard:

Personal property – Up to $1,000 as a result of theft or attempted theft.
Third party at fault accidents – No excess applies if third parties at fault can be identified.
Recoding of locks and barrels – Up to $2,000 if keys are stolen.
Storage following an accident – Reasonable costs.
Towing costs – Up to $500.
Emergency or temporary repairs – Up to $500 per incident that we have agreed to cover.
Transport or accommodation – Each up to $1,000 of more than 150kms from home.
Collect or deliver your vehicle – Reasonable costs if repaired over 100kms from home.
Replacement vehicle – Automatic cover for 14 days up to the sum insured.
Baby seat/capsules – $300 limit.
Loss or damage to trailer – Cost of repair or market value up to $500.
Legal costs for Coronial Inquiry – Up to $5,000 for legal representation before a coroner.
Removal of debris – Reasonable costs to remove the vehicle debris.
Funeral expenses – Up to $5,000 if insured Driver dies as a result of collision.
Cover for damage to other people’s property – Up to $20,000,000 including costs.



Gap Insurance

Reduce your financial risk so you are not out of pocket when the worst happens…

Most comprehensive insurance policies will only pay the current market value of your vehicle, leaving you with the difference between this value and the finance payout amount. Our Gap Protection Insurance insures this ‘gap’ between current market value and finance still owing.

Summary of Key Benefits

  • $15,000 cover for the difference between the comprehensive motor insurance payout (i.e. Market Value) and the total amount outstanding on the finance contract at date of loss.
  • The following additional benefit is also included in the $15,000 cover:
  • Expenses incurred directly or indirectly as a result of the total loss of your vehicle including but not limited to include hire car costs, motor premium or excess for your new car or personal effects not otherwise insured.
  • Maximum Benefit Limit – $2,000.

  • Competitive pricing & flexible benefits.

Lease Protection Gold Insurance

When life throws you a curveball, the last thing you need is to be without your wheels.

In the event of an unexpected redundancy or job loss, our Lease Protection Gold policy helps to keep you in your vehicle, enabling you to get your life back on track.

Underwritten by Chubb Insurance, this policy provides peace of mind at exactly the time you need it.

Accidental Death

  • The amount owing on the finance contract up to a maximum of $100,000.

Combined Involuntary Redundancy & Vehicle hand back cover:

  • In the event of involuntary redundancy there is a 30 day waiting period.
  • 6 monthly repayments are then covered whilst seeking work.
  • Vehicle can be handed back at any time after the 3rd monthly repayment has been approved and the vehicle hand back cover can be claimed.
  • $25,000 maximum payable any one claim.

Additional Coverage:

  • Expatriation hand back benefit up to $5,000.
  • Carer’s hand back benefit up to $5,000.
  • Funeral expenses benefit up to $5,000.

  • Competitive pricing, broad coverage and generous Sums Insured.
  • The cost is packaged in your monthly lease repayment.
  • Cover lasts for the life of the lease contract (even if you decide to change jobs and retain the vehicle).
  • Increased likelihood that you will be able to retain the vehicle in the event of redundancy.
  • Decreased chance of attracting a poor personal credit rating.
  • Provides peace of mind about making vehicle repayments in an uncertain economic environment.
  • Product flexibility – this insurance enables you to hand the vehicle back and walk away from the vehicle repayments if you are still unemployed after three months.

 

Roadside Advantage

Absolute motoring peace of mind can be yours with 24/7 coverage for all your emergency break downs.

A 24 hr toll free customer support team will provide specific services and professional advice for your nominated vehicle.

Roadside Response

Once a call for help is received, either at the customers home or on the road, a mobile service is immediately dispatched to the scene to rectify on the spot, the following roadside difficulties:

  • Flat battery: Vehicle wills be jump started at request of driver.
  • Flat tyre: Vehicle spare wheel will be fitted.
  • Out of fuel: Minimum 5 litres of unleaded fuel supplied at drivers cost. LPG/Diesel vehicles transport to fuel supply.
  • Locked/lost keys: Open vehicle, cost up to $77 GST inc.
  • Towing Breakdown: If the customer’s vehicle is unable to be quickly mechanically repaired or safely driven, the vehicle, including the driver, will be transported to a nominated service centre, or owner’s home address. In a situation where the breakdown occurs on a trip or holiday, we would transport the vehicle to the nearest service centre or mechanical repair facility. In an after-hours situation, arrangements can be made to store the vehicle and transport when the service centre or repair facility is open.
  • Free Service: A 50km free of charge service for roadside response and breakdown towing applies on a NATIONAL basis, as part of our standard service, with all excess km charged at the recommended industry rates.
  • General Assistance: We will relay any urgent messages to family, friends and business associates, likely to be concerned by disruption or delay.

We can also arrange for alternative transport in the case of a major breakdown or accident i.e. taxi (cost at drivers expense).

Car hire

In the event of a major mechanical failure, whilst more than 100km from your registered residence, which sidelines your vehicle for longer than 48 hours, excluding weekends and public holidays, we will assist with reasonable necessary car rental costs (excluding fuel and insurance).

On submission of the account, (excluding petrol, kms and insurance) together with a copy of the repair bill, we will cover up to $400 per claim.

Ambulance cover

In the event of an accident where the registered vehicle is involved, and the driver or immediate family of the driver (i.e. wife/husband, sons/ daughters) require the services of an ambulance as a result of that accident, we will assist with ambulance costs.

On submission of the account together with a copy of the ambulance bill, we will cover up to $400 per claim. (N.B. Liability not to exceed $400 per registration period).

Accommodation

In the event of a major mechanical failure, whilst more than 100km from your registered residence, which sidelines your vehicle for longer than 48 hours, excluding weekends and public holidays, we will assist with reasonable necessary emergency accommodation costs (excluding meals).

On submission of the account together with a copy of the repair and accommodation bill, we will cover up to $400 per claim.

Exclusions

Although the below list are just some exclusions to your program, we can still assist you at any time, at an extra cost:

Trucks, heavy equipment and vehicles over 3.5 tonnes gross, Vehicles that require specialist or heavy equipment for removal or are not within easy reach of a public road, Vehicles used for hire or reward & Unregistered vehicles.
